This popular equivalent to the savoury pie is filled with Chorizo sausage, cheese and vegetables making them a great appetizer or  entrée. Found in many countries in Western Europe, Latin America, and parts of Southeast Asia, empanada’s will prove to be a favourite for patrons and guests.

Cooking Instructions  

 Deep Fry

  1. Preheat oil to 170°C.
  2. Place frozen empanadas in Deep Fryer for 2 – 3 minutes or until golden and crunchy on the outside.
  3. If deep fryer is not available pan-fry method can be used with similar instruction but empanadas may need to be turned in order to cook on both sides.


Cook from frozen and do not re-freeze thawed product. Cooking / heating times are a guide and vary depending on your appliances. Allow to stand for 1 – 2 minutes before serving.

 Serving Suggestion

Serve with preferred dipping sauce.
