Nuoc Mam Sauce

NUOC MAM SAUCE

This tangy Vietnamese dipping sauce goes perfectly with our entire range of Spring rolls. To add even more freshness serve with iceberg lettuce and fresh mint. Spring rolls can be eaten rolled up with the lettuce and mint.

Ingredients

  • Nuoc mam fish sauce 3 tbsp
  • Sugar 3 tbsp
  • Rice vinegar 3 tbsp
  • Water ½ cup
  • Grated carrot 1 small grated
  • Garlic paste 2 garlic gloves finely sliced
  • Red chilli 1 small finely sliced

Method

Combine the fish sauce, the sugar, the vinegar and the water and cook over medium heat.

Stir well until the sugar is dissolve

Decant and allow to cool

Before serving add grated carrots, garlic and chilli
